I sat down and cried

Wanting for someone to wipe my tears

Wanting for help

To lift me up

To escape me from reality

Escape from my pleas

Pleas of sorrow

Pleas of pain

My heart bleed

My mind is empty

My eyes swollen shut

No tears left to shed

Long are the nights

This fear I couldn't fight

Sometimes in my life
I experience emptiness
Alone, behind the bars of my loneliness
Separated from everything
Prisoner of my solitude

I was lost in the dark
I tried to find a light
But the darkness covers up my whole

I cried out for His help
I keep on asking
I keep on seeking Him
I keep on knocking His door

"Lord, help me!"

After I spoke this word
The door was opened slowly
And a man came in saying:

"This is what I'm waiting"

He filled my emptiness
He breaks the bars of my loneliness
He opens the door of my alones
He helps me to overcome my separateness

He is the man of everything
The man, the only one

The Bliss of Dying

If someone I love departs from this world
I try not to grieve nor to cry
'Cause it is only like falling asleep
As Mama sings my favorite lullaby.

Dying is an imaginative feeling
Heeding the angel's harp as you follow the light
The fear subsides as you listen to them sing
Until a smile from Him is in sight.

There's a room for us in God's palace
But the wondrous resting place is in His lap
So in the day I'll leave earthly sins
I will lay in His lap and feel His warmth
As He caress my hair and whispers hymns
A desire that is sealed in my heart.
