Fragile and innocent were those eyes,
Clear as waters when they shine
But as silver tears were shed by painful cries
Behind those eyeglasses they hide.
How strong you are to fight
Against lonely moments
and half-faked smiles?
So firm are those eyeglasses to hide,
All the heartaches in your life.
Shallow reasons for a burst of laughter
We had all those nonsense jokes
And a bit of silence we talk
The smiles behind those eyeglasses are my reasons
Reasons for every happiness in my life.
Behind those eyeglasses
Are vision of our memories,
Of thousand moments,
Of hundred dreams.
To where those promises were kept and sealed.
For every word we speak,
For the love we bear.
And as long as you could see me
Through those eyeglasses I swear,
Never will I leave
'cause behind those eyeglasses I have seen
The love that completes me
And will be forever I need.
