The needles of pain are very excruciating
The injections of sadness made me falter
The bed of anguish is very humiliating
My soul anymore can't suffer
The sands of time are falling
My tears anymore won't fall
My eyelids closed yet open
My ears won't give ere to the call
A light flashed onto my face
Then darkness covered it all
It seems my heart was left by grace
And live my life disgrace
Cancer is its name
Pain is what it causes
As I suffer this terrible disease
I can't help but ask for strength
To God, I ask to cure the pain
I asked Him for help
I asked Him to heal
And protect me 'til I am well
The sun rose up, I'm able to run
I'm able to fly with His hand on mine
Laughter and love embarked the dawn
No time for pain, no time to mourn
But it came to pass, the pain
Came back to life again
I shouted for pain
Here's the pain again!
I've been through so much
It's time for me to go home
To leave behind this sorrows
And live where happiness could roam.
